Scott R. Carlson


Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1984 with a Bachelor's in Political Science. He received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 1988 where he was an Associate Editor of Law Review. Scott is an experienced commercial litigator with significant trial experience in state and federal courts in the areas of commercial disputes, trade secret protection, professional malpractice defense, securities fraud, banking, employment, bankruptcy, real estate, healthcare, FDCPA defense, and ERISA litigation. Admitted to Practice in Minnesota State Courts, Federal District Courts in Minnesota, Western District of Wisconsin, District of Colorado and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Outside of the practice of law, Scott enjoys spending time with his two children and is an avid music collector and musician.  He has a first degree black belt in taekwondo and is President of the Metropolitan Boys Choir.
